We are Ireland's Leading Independent Coffee Chain. From our very first coffee shop in Galway back in 1997 to the 175 stores we now have in Ireland and the UK, along with over 600 self-service machines, our promise has always been the same, “You will get the best cup of coffee every single time you visit”. With this in mind, we are excited to introduce new serving formats with our Insomnia Airstream and Drive Thru.
A full range of Insomnia Coffee Signature Blend, Hot and Iced Beverages are available, along with a selection of fresh bakery produce and handcrafted sandwiches.

At Top Oil, Spawell
You can find our Insomnia Drive Thru’s in Junction 6, Castleknock and Top Oil Spawell service Station, Templogue. We’ve worked closely with our franchisees to evolve and refine our Drive Thru model, creating a road map that can be quickly rolled out and adapted to new locations. We’ve re-imagined our Insomnia best practices to bring our much loved in-store experience to a Drive-Thru format. Our aim was to clearly define the customers path to purchase and to align with our in-store journey. To do so we approached each customer touch point as individual zones, strong directional signage within these zones (approach, entry way, menu/order, pay/pick up, exit) ensures that communication is at the core of all customer touch points and all customer needs, behaviours and expectations are anticipated and exceeded.
We identified digital menu boards as an opportunity to leverage technology to boost sales and replicate the in-store experience for our Drive Thru customers. The digital menu screen provides easy-navigation and displaying food and beverage imagery allows for easy ordering. It also provides an opportunity to encourage customers to try our new seasonal offerings, by utilising both animation and video content the customer is always engaged with our products and brand.
We pride ourselves on offering a personalised order experience, in that you can personalise your order just as you would in-store with dairy free alternatives, syrups etc. Our friendly barista’s will talk you through your order and prepare your hand crafted hot beverage.
